Annual Neuroscience Retreat:

An especially popular event is the Annual Neuroscience Retreat, which is held each fall at a lodge in the countryside near St. Louis. This well-attended event includes a mixture of academic, social, and outdoor activities in a relaxed setting and attractive environment. The informal atmosphere encourages interactions among students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty from different departments and different subdisciplines.

The 2008 Neuroscience Retreat will be held October 3 (Friday) at the Trout Lodge, YMCA of the OZARKS, Potosi, MO. The format will include student-postdoc-new faculty talks, a poster session, a party, and two keynote speakers  The Retreat is open free of charge to Washington University Neuroscience faculty, postdocs and students.

Sign-up is now open for those who would like to spend the night on Friday; at the sign-up page you will also be asked whether you would like to present a poster or be considered for presenting a talk (sign-up page).  Please sign up early in order to be assured a room. If you would like to attend for the day only on Friday, please send your request to lydia@npg.wustl.edu and state whether you will stay for dinner and if you would like to present a poster or be considered for presenting a talk.

For further details, see the Retreat Info document.
