 eks to uncover how GABAergic inhibitory neurons develop\, mature and contri
 bute to the normal functions of the brain. It studies genes involved in inh
 ibitory neuron development and maturation\, as well as those implicated in 
 disease. In addition\, it is interested in how autism spectrum disorder ris
 k-genes contribute to the normal biology of the brain and how mutations in 
 these genes impact function.</p>
