Research Interests
How do neural networks in our brains create our inner desires, especially our desire to explore and learn about the world around us? I am investigating the neural basis of information seeking – including neural circuits that estimate our level of uncertainty about future events, and circuits that translate this into a desire to resolve our uncertainty by seeking out sources of new knowledge in our environment.
